What is Boeing Aeromodelling Competition?

Boeing - IIT National Aeromodelling Competition for students in India is sponsored by Boeing, and in collaboration with IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur and IIT Madras. Logistics support for this event is provided by Skyfi Labs. The competition is launched with the vision to provide a unified national platform for students interested in aerospace and related engineering disciplines - to demonstrate their aero-modeling expertise.

Problem Statement

Participating teams must design, fabricate, and demonstrate a fixed wing model unpowered glider and a launcher with given constraints that can achieve maximum endurance/ flight time. Considering the pandemic, this year’s competition is being held remotely – participants will have to submit their projects via videos following the guidelines mentioned in this document. Webinars

We will be conductiong 4 webinars, which will be covering topics ranging from longitudnal static stability to constructing the launcher mechanism. We will also cover logistics in these sessions, the dates and recordings of this will be circulated in social media handles
